As promised, here’s a closer look at the tarte Holiday Blockbuster Collection – I’m squeezing this in today as I believe it can still be ordered for delivery in time for Christmas, so if you have someone in mind for this, or fancy it for yourself to tuck into during the party season, you’re going to want to order ASAP! The tarte Holiday Blockbuster Collection is an amazing collection of palettes that form one larger palette, therefore catering to a variety of make-up needs.



In the prettily packaged box you get four palettes, each of which contains four eyeshadows in complimenting shades and one blusher.  You also get a mini (but decent sized) Lights, Camera Lashes 4in1 Mascara, a mini LipSurgence Lip Creme in Ravishing (a flattering mid-toned pink that’ll work with all the colours in the set) and a mini palette that stores one of the four palettes so you can travel with whichever one you used for your look, or want to take away with you.



As is the norm with tarte colours, you get a brilliant collection of beautiful nude eyeshadows in either shimmer or matte finishes. The blushers are also pretty neutral, so I would presume that there would be very few colourings who wouldn’t be able to take advantage of every colour included.



Two palettes contain nude brown shadows, with one set leaning warm and one a little cooler.  Then you get a more mauve/plum quad and a smoky grey quad.  How fab is that? Literally all the colours you could need if you’re a fan of a nude or smokey eye.  I realise that technically you could just bung all of these into one palette, but I think what’s great about this sort of set-up is that you can store the majority of it whilst you work your way through the different elements.
